June Downline Challenge

I offered a challenge to my downline a couple weeks ago--this time I picked TSSC177.  It is always a fun little thing to do and here are the cards that I got from the gals that participated.

This first card was the winner by my judges--boy am I ever glad that I didn't have to judge these--they are all good!  Mary from MN is our "Queen of the challenge" this time.  She used the Sunny Fun set from the summer mini catalog.

Jamie made this card and gave you  a sneak peek of some new fun items coming the catalog that goes live July 1.  Tomorrow already!  We have a new punch called the lace ribbon border punch that makes the orange lace layer and some fun DSP called Flirtatious Specialty.  These coordinate with a stamp set called Delicate Doilies.  Oh.....you are going to love this new catalog.  Be sure to contact me to get yours soon!

This card was made by Denice and uses the Always Elegant and Word Pay sets in black and white.  I love the look of this card--it is so striking with the black and white and some bling with the rhinestones.
This is the last card and was made by Kristina  and again gives you a sneak peek the that Delicate Doilies set and the new in color Wisteria Wonder (I love purples).  I love the tag and the white baker's twine that you can find in the summer mini and will be available in the new IB & C.
Thanks for stopping by--have a great day!

Retiring stamps

As promised, I am posting some pictures of cards that are with retiring sets.  I am going to miss these sets--<sniff>!

This first one is a really cute idea that I cased from Linda Heller.  Thanks Linda!  DSP's are retired already but you can use the idea with any papers.  Fun and fast notes is a set that I will miss dearly--a great all around set.

The inside to one of the cards.

A card made in artichoke and with the party hearty stamp set.  Another one that I will miss dearly.

This card was a swap card I received from Jill Nolan.

This last card is from a gal that I swap with on a regular basis, Sharon Burkert.  I love this card done with the Love you so much set.  I hope you enjoy these samples and be sure to take a look at the retiring list and make sure there isn't something there you can't live without!  Give me a call or email with your $25 order today or by noon tomorrow and you will get a FREE new catalog!  Thanks for stopping by!

Strength & Hope Cards

Wow!  I am not sure where the whole month of June went to but we are almost to the end.  Today's post includes some cards that I made for a local 4-H member for her teen leadership project.  She was asking for cards to donate to the local Relay For Life.  So off to stamping with the Strength and Hope set from the summer mini. They made some beautiful cards in the pink theme.  I hope they provide some inspiration for you.

You will also notice that I used a couple of the embossing folders with the Big Shot--tulip frame folder and flower garden folder.  Also some pearls from the jewels available in the regular IB &C.  A couple of the cards use the scallop border punch also from the IB&C.  Thanks for stopping by today!

Flower Fest Again

Today's post, as promised, is with Flower Fest from the summer mini catalog.  It uses cherry cobbler, crumb cake, & early espresso for colors.  I love this combination.

Greetings are from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set--it has a greeting for just about everything you might need.  To accessorize I used some cherry cobbler seam binding, and pearls (some I colored).  I also used the punches that matched the flowers and the modern label punch for the greeting that I tucked behind the stamped flower strip.  Thanks for stopping by.  Have a good rest of your week--I am off for a funeral on Friday to the Missoula area.  Chat again soon.
