Now for some more SAB samples!

This card is made with SAB set Bliss--one of my favorites!  Cardstock colors are early espresso, very vanilla, and so saffron.  DSP is botanical gazette from the occasion's mini catty.  Early Espresso and So Saffron ink pads and so saffron marker to color the rosette with.  Accessories include victoria crochet trim, rosettes, very vanilla satin ribbon, and decorative label punch.
This card was made by Kimberly Allen and she used the SAB stamp set called Sweet Summer.  I love the multitude of layers she used making this card and it showcases the framed tulip embossing folder used with the Big Shot wonderfully.  This folder is in the occasion's mini.
This is a variation of the card that Diane used for a shoebox swap that I participated in at leadership.  It was one of my favorite cards that we made there.  She used the framed tulip folder as well and SAB set Bliss.  When you stamp the flourish in white craft ink you do need to give it some drying time.  I love the first edition DSP that she added and you can find it in the occasion's mini on page 25.
I made this card was made using SAB selection Ice Cream Parlor dsp&quick accents pack.  Melon mambo for a square card base with a scallop accent of old olive.  My favorite part of this card is the fabric designer brad in the middle of the flower.  Flower was die cut with the Fun Flowers die and then run thru the Big Shot with the polka dot embossing folder.

I hope these samples inspire you to want to take me up on my SAB wrap up promotion.  With a $50 purchase you can get one of these SAB selections for FREE and be in the drawing for other FREE goodies that I am planning to give away!

Don't delay--this offer is only good until March 30th, 2011!  Thanks for stopping by today and hope to chat with you soon.

Sale-a-Bration is ending soon!

In today's post I am going to post some cards that were made with SAB sets that you can find on the back page of the SAB brochure.  These are sets from the regular IB & C and the page numbers to find them are listed there on the page.  Sale-a-Bration is winding down and will come to an end on the last day of this month.  I am going to do a Sale-a-Bration promotion here on my blog to end the promotion so stay tuned to see what you could win.  These are some swap cards from gals that I swap with on a regular basis.

This card was made by Mary Ammar and uses the Thank You Kindly set, which is a four piece set of "thank you" sayings.  And you can get it for FREE until the end of this month!  The espresso and blut together are a fabulous combination.

This card was made by Jan Cramer and uses the single stamp called On the Green which is SAB as well.  It also uses Perfect Punches from page 131 of the IB&C.  You can see the dsp that is layered to always artichoke and the gold brads add a lovely touch.

This card is made by Mary Hall.  Mary used the Ornate Blossom which is another single stamp that is available as a SAB pick.  I love the pearls--they add such a nice wow factor to this card!

Here is another card made by Jan Cramer.  It uses the Christmas Greetings stamp set which is a SAB pick from the back page of the brochure.  This card is very pretty in real life.  I LOVE our new cherry cobbler color.  The focal point was sprayed with a shimmer spray I think she made from mixing rubbing alcohol with the champagne mist shimmer paint from page 195 of the IB&C.  The glimmer brad comes from our occasions mini catalog.  You can see that she used the petals a plenty embossing folder as well with our Big Shot.

Calving Season!

It is calving season for us--one of our busiest times of the year here at the ranch.  Here are some pics of our daily life.

feeding time in the evening~~they say if you feed at night they will calve during the day--I don't know about that--hubby still got me up at 11:30 pm last night to pull a calf!  Works sometimes, I suppose.

A first time mom headed out with her new baby.  This little guy had a rough start --I had to tube him with some colostrum early one morning as he wasn't strong enough to get up and suck.  He got three feedings from me that day before he could finally stand on his own.  You would never know that now--he has lots of energy!

Hubby helping me put pairs out to pasture.  We have had some beautiful weather lately but we are under a winter storm warning for today and tomorrow again.  All good things must come to an end and just in time for our first full day of spring!

Punch Bunch 2

Sorry I have been absent for so long.  Busy here with calving and we have had some computer problems as well which hasn't helped things out any.  Today's post is done with Punch Bunch set which is a Sale-a-bration set currently.  It is available until the end of this month of March.  Don't delay--get it now!

It uses the owl from the punch bunch set and I stamped it in pear pizzazz and punched it out with the owl punch from the IB&C (page 201).  The branch comes from the two step bird extra large punch.  Base card is baja breeze with a white layer.  Then a smaller early espresso piece that was punched with the scallop edge border punch.  The white piece was stamped with so saffron in the dot, dot, dot stamp found on page 140 of the IB&C.  This is also available as a SAB selection.  I added some baja breeze dsp from the subtles dsp pack found on page 175 of thte IB&C which added the punched pieces to the owl and the little heart.  The greeting for this card comes from another SAB set called So Happy For You.  The ribbon is early espresso grosgrain.

Sale-a-bration time is winding down so don't wait too long and miss out on getting some of these fun sets for FREE to add to your collection.

Have a great day and I'll try to not be sooooo long between posts.  Thanks for stopping by.

Bliss 4

Today's post is a card that I made and sent with the prize to the challenge winners in my downline for our last card challenge.  Again, using the Sale-a-bration set, Bliss.  You can't tell that I love this set can you??

Using one of my favorite color combinations I use perfect plum, always artichoke, night of navy, sahara sand, and very vanilla.  I stamped images from the  Bliss stamp set randomly on the very vanilla strip of cs in sahara sand, perfect plum, always artichoke, and night of navy.  Add this piece to a layer of always artichoke cs that had been punched with the scallop trim border punch.  I then used the always artichoke seam binding to tie a ribbon on and mounted it to the perfect plum base card.  The greeting comes from the You're a Gem stamp set found in the occasion's mini catalog on page 25.

I stamped first on some scrap vanilla and then punched it out with the larger oval punch and then layered it to an always artichoke scallop oval layer.  I added a bit of the champagne glitter to give it some bling.  You can find this glass glitter in the occasion's mini as well on page 18.  Thanks for stopping by today.

Flower Fancy

Today's post was a card that I got at a shoebox swap at leadership this year.  It is a fun, easy layout and have duplicated it and tweaked it just a little.  I can't remember the name of the gal who brought this card to the swap, sorry.  The card base is elegant eggplant.  It has the lined image of the flower stamped randomly on that--you may have to click on the picture to see that detail.  The stamp set is Flower Fancy found on page 100 of the current IB&C.  I also used some old olive and white cs for the focal point.  The champagne glass glitter from the occasions mini catalog on page 18 adds just the right bling.

Some sponging around the edges and olive satin ribbon with a couple gold brads finish the detail.  The greeting comes from our very versatile Sincere Salutations --page155 of the IB&C.  It was stamped with the wide oval punch and then layered to an elegant eggplant decorative label punch piece.  Thanks for stopping by today.  Off to go check heifers!  Have a fabulous day!

Bliss 3

Good Monday Morning to all!  Today's post is similar to a post from previously.  Same colors, just changed the layout a touch and the stamp set to Bliss.  Oh, how I love this set and time is running out to get it.  So with a $50 purchase of other stamp goodies, you can earn this one for FREE.  Go to my website at http://www.rheastamps.stampinup.net/ to place your orders.  After you are there, just click on the "shop now" button.  The colors are concord crush and sahara sand.  I used white craft ink and a sponge dauber to ink up the cs that I embossed with the tulip folder and the Big Shot.  It really adds a nice touch and is kind of hard to see in the picture.  The victoria crochet trim ribbon across the bottom and the greeting mounted with dimensionals.  The scallop trim border punch along the one side is in cocord crush cs.  Thanks for stopping by today.

Mmmmmm--Candy!

I just made this for the door prize for today's workshop--some lucky person is going home with CANDY!  I wrapped the little nugget candies with the springtime vintage dsp from the occasion's mini.  Then used the Punch Bunch SAB set to make the tag.  I colored it with markers in pear pizzazz, blushing bride, and rose red.  Punched it out with the scallop punch which matches perfectly as do all the images in this set; they all match punches carried by SU!  Wrapped it with some vanilla satin ribbon and tied the tag on with some linen thread.  I hope whoever wins this today loves chocolate!  Thanks for stopping by.

Downline challenge

Today I am posting some cards that my downline and myself made to follow a sketch challenge.  I had some club members, and customers help to judge them for me.  Thanks ladies!  I think you will love these cards.  I had 5 ladies participate and I am posting mine as well but it was not part of the judging--I just wanted to play along!

The first card is made by Mary--didn't she do a nice job with the sketch?  My favorite part was her sewing of the two lines on the tangerine tango cardstock.  The button with linen thread just pulls it all together.  The second card was made by Jamie and she did a lovely job as well.  I love the springtime vintage dsp and how it goes so well with this Easter Blossoms set and the pearls along with the rose red seam binding are my fav's here.  I just love the color combo.  These two cards tied for the winning entry,

The first card here is made by Denice--it looks so like spring and I am so ready for that!  I am just tired of chopping ice so cows can get a drink.  :-)  She added pearls to the Because I care focal point that are really hard to see in the picture but they add so much in real life.  The polka dot embossing folder adds just the right texture.  The second card is made by me.  I used the bliss SAB set--I LOVE that set and I am not going to elaborate as this card was posted last week so scroll down and you can see the details.

The first card here is made by Rachel.  I love the bright colors that the SAB dsp and quick accents bring to this card.  My favorite part is the scrunched peach parfait ribbon, a lovely touch.  The second card is made by Kristina and I love the fact that she utilized some scraps from the quick accents to pull her card together along with the butterfly (oh how I long to see one of those in real life).  The winter blues are really getting me here in this post.  Thanks for stopping by today.  I hope you enjoy these cards.

Punch Bunch

Today's post is made with another SAB set called Punch Bunch.  It is a really quick and easy card to make.

It uses dsp from the SAB dsp & quick accents pack found on page 7 of the brochure and as with all SAB items, it is FREE with a $50 purchase of other goodies!  I used a pink pirouette for a base and then added the strip of dsp with a white satin ribbon.  The 2 ½" circle punch is out of melon mambo textured cs then distressed it with the cutter kit.  The scallop piece is colored with melon mambo, pink pirouette, and old olive markers stamped on white and punched out with the scallop circle punch.  I added this to the card with dimensionals.  Thanks for stopping by today.
