More swap cards

I am posting some more swap cards today from a recent swap that I participate in.  I know that you all love seeing the creations and I love to share them with you.

This one was made by Linda Heller.  She used a new stamp set called World Treasures found on page 98 of the new catalog.  She also used the international bazaar dsp (pg. 164).  The peacock was done with markers and has lots of bling with rhinestones and glitter.  Linda always decorates the inside of her cards as well and this one has a strip of the dsp inside.  Very bright and pretty.

This one was made by Tina Rappe.  She used the Layered Labels stamp set found on page 133.  This set coordinates with the Apothecary Accents Framelits (pg. 191).  This card combines one of our new "in colors"  called summer starfruit with early espresso.  The button is a new accessory found on page 176 and you get an assortment of 3 different designs.  The banner is made from a piece of the comfort cafe dsp (pg. 163).  I love all the new products that Tina used on this card!  Thanks for checking in with me today!

New Ink Pads

Betsy's Blossoms

Today's card is made with a set called Betsy's Blossoms.  It is new to this year's catalog.

This is a swap card that Sharon Burkert made.  She used items from the Floral District suite found on page 70 and 71 of the current catalog.  Stamp sets include Betsy's Blossoms and Delightful Dozen.  Some circle punches and itty bitty shapes punch pack.  She used the Big Shot to make the little leaves and the polka dot background.  The dsp is Floral district found on page 163.  The ribbon is also new; ¼ inch grosgrain stitched ribbon.  The colors in the suite provide for very bright and happy cards!
Thanks for stopping by today.

Bordering on Romance

Today's card uses the stamp set from the occasion's mini catalog that made our main catalog this year.  It is called Bordering on Romance; a great set for watercoloring, coloring with markers or pastels, embossing, etc.  What a wonderful set.

I love the style of these cards that have that clean and simple look with alot of white space.  I saw a card when I was blog surfing that used this layout and I just switched up the stamp set so I could use markers and some of the dazzling details.  The houndstooth embossing folder adds a great background along with the calypso coral or rose red layer made with two punched decorative label pieces put together.  The greeting comes from the Petite Pairs stamp set.

Happy June and new catalog!

Today our new Stampin' Up!  catalog goes live!  If you don't have one in your hot little hands and would love one, please contact me.  Until then, you can see it online at my website; www.rheastamps.stampinup.net
SOOOO much fun stuff!  So today you are getting to see a set that is in the new catalog and one that we got to preview for a bit this spring.  I LOVE this set and have used it a ton already.

It uses the summer smooches DSP, top note die, big shot, Bright Blossoms stamp set, rhinestones, Curly Cute stamp set, circle punches.  I used a circle punch to round the ends of the greeting; if you don't know how to do this you are welcome to come to any of my classes and learn different little tips like this!  Colors are rich razzleberry, lucky limeade and white.  Thanks for stopping by today!
