Holiday mini samples

Today you will be seeing some samples from the holiday mini catalog. This is quite possibly the BEST holiday mini catalog I have ever seen from SU. I LOVE so many things in this catalog and my wish list is LONG! I did a swap with my downline for the holiday mini and you will be seeing some of their creations for the next few days. These first two come from a daughter and mother. Rachel recruited with me and then recruited her Mom to join in the FUN! So the first card comes from Rachel Takala.

Rachel used The Joyous Celebrations stamp set, the lacy brocade textured impressions embossing folder(tief), core'dinations cardstock--all of which are from the holiday mini. She also used some things from the regular catalog like the polka dot TIEF, cherry cobbler seam binding, extra large oval punch, dotted scallop ribbon border punch, etc. Very nicely done Rachel!

Rachel's mom, Mary Roggenkamp, made this beautiful card. She used the stamp set called Snowflake Soiree from the holiday mini. The Merry Christmas comes from Teeny Tiny Wishes from the Annual Catalog. Triple time stamping is so pretty. The designer ribbon slides are in the holiday mini on page 31. Those with the scrunched up seam binding add a nice touch. Very pretty Mary!

Scensational Season

This is a fun card I created for a swap that I participated in recently. The gate card is a fun fold to work with. It uses Be of Good Cheer dsp and Scensational Season stamp set. You can find the stamp set in the holiday mini on page 16 along with the framelits called holiday collection that match this set. I used two different patterns of dsp as you can see in this picture.

The greeting is made with the decorative label punch--it's a fun technique. It is also how the card stays shut.

Wedding cards

Today's post are some wedding cards that I needed to make recently. I used some retired products from Stampin' Up! along with some current ones to complete these.

I used the set Word Play which is currently in our main catalog--I love this set and have used it a bunch. The satin red ribbon is retired along with the groom paper (the black printed paper). The hearts come from some embosslits used with the BIG SHOT and the full heart punch all of which are current merchandise. Anyway, have a great Friday!

Holiday Mini Catalog

The holiday mini catalog went live yesterday. We had a busy day on the ranch yesterday so posting info today about it. Many of you have gotten these in the mail already from me.
