Sale-a-bration online workshop!

It's Time!!!  Sale-a-bration is coming to and end!  You may not have gotten to a workshop during this time but it is NOT too late!  Or maybe, you just didn't get all the SAB goodies you wanted yet.  I am going to host a mystery hostess workshop online.  With Stampin' Up's new hostess code you can place an order online by using this code:  VVBC7MJH
The very best part; your order will ship to you direct.  You can also add Clearance Rack items to your order with this option or My Digital Studio items.  So you will go to my website at www.rheastamps.stampinup.net and click the shop now button.
As soon as you enter your first item to purchase at the bottom of the page it will ask for the hostess code and you will type this code in:  VVBC7MJH
All orders placed will get a chance in the mystery hostess for the hostess goodies.  You have till March 21st to place your order.  Then I will draw for the hostess merchandise and plan to close on March 22nd.  You can still place orders till noon on March 22nd, just not be in line for hostess goodies.  I need to have time to reach the winner.

This SAB card was made by Jan Cramer, a wonderful swapper that I swap with monthly.  Continue to look back thru my blog for some other SAB ideas.  This card was made with the stamp set Feeling Sentimental (one of the SAB picks).  Just shop and buy $50 worth of stamp supplies and you can pick this set for free or one of about 20 other items.
Happy Stamping!

Sweep away the mundane-your creativity carriage awaits!

I'm Paper Pumpkin . . .
I come to your door each month (a fully decked-out creativity carriage). I'll help you to
escape your life with some paper fun.
I come in a sweet box, but you'll really love what you find on the inside:
All the stamps, ink, paper, and accessories to create pinable projects. Create stuff like
cards, journals, décor, and more!
Paper Pumpkin by Stampin' Up! is a new monthly kit program that anyone
 (even you) can enjoy!

To get started:

Go to www.mypaperpumpkin to sign up.  Sign up deadline for the first one is March 10th.  You will go thru the sign up process and it will ask you for your demo's name at one point toward the end.  They  have had some issues with this portion so let me know when you sign up so I can watch for an email from SU that you have.
Here is some of the important tidbits:
Each month we send you a unique, surprise kit with a project-cards, journals, décor, and more! (We've even color-coordinated, measured, and cut everything for you!)
  • Each kit includes stamps, ink, paper, and accessories-everything but adhesive.
  • Each kit gives you and your customer a 30-minute creativity escape.
  • We will ship your Paper Pumpkin on or around the 15th of the month.
  • You need to sign up for a kit by the 10th of the month to get that month's kit. If you sign up on the 11th of the month, your first kit will come the next month. (Let's say you sign up on May 10th, we'll send your kit around May 15th. If you sign up on May 11th, we'll send your first kit around June 15th.)
  • A Paper Pumpkin membership is $19.95 per month (and shipping is included!)
  • There's no commitment, you can cancel your monthly Paper Pumpkin at anytime. You can also skip a month if you want. You just do that at the website as well.
A Free Gift in Your Very First Kit
The Welcome Kit is the very first Paper Pumpkin you will receive in your first month of membership. The Welcome Kit includes a free gift-a clear acrylic block!

    Who would like paper pumpkin????

Beginning Crafters:  You will find everything you need except the adhesive to complete the project and it will help you begin your stamp collection!  Even step by step instructions!  It is a great introduction to stamping!

Busy Moms:  Make a little time for yourself to create some quick and easy projects.  Best of all, they are made by YOU!  Get together with a friend and stamp your project each month.

Tweens and teenagers:  This can be a great Mom/daughter event or Grandma/granddaughter time.  Spend some time crafting together--you can even order 2 kits--one for you and one for her.

Experienced crafter:  I have ordered this for myself.  When you love stamping; a reason to get together with friends with everyone bringing their Paper Pumpkin box and spend some time together laughing and stamping!  FUN!!!

Head on over to the website to sign up and please remember to select me,
Rhea Hughes, as your demonstrator when you check out.  To get the March kit sign
up on or before March 10th!

    The best of.....flowers!

The best of set for March is Flowers.  With spring around the corner, this was the perfect time.  Check out the following article:

    Best of Flowers

When I saw the images selected for the Best of Flowers Stamp Set, I got a little giddy. The hydrangea stamp was one of my favorites, and I am so delighted to see it come back. (If you haven’t heard about our “Best of” promotional stamp sets yet, you can go here to find out more.)

My favorite way to use this stamp is to stamp it all in one color, though you could also watercolor it!

These were so simple and fast to make. I stamped the hydrangea image from the Best of Flowers Stamp Set and all of the greetings from the Made for you stamp set on our notecards and envelopes;  then I sewed around the border and lined my envelopes with some silver glimmer paper.
I’m going to have to make a few more sets of these because I’m so pleased with how they turned out. They’re perfect to keep for myself—or to give away in a bundle as a gift.

    Christina N.
    Concept Artist
Here is what the set looks like:

Have a great Wednesday--chat with you all soon.  If you are "in love" with these flowers, head on over to my website to order:  www.rheastamps.stampinup.net

    Make a Wish

Today's post is a card made with the Make a Wish stamp set found on page 9 of the spring mini catalog.  This card was inspired by another card that I got as a make and take for a convention I did online.  The make and take was more masculine using the same bunch of dsp from the print poetry dsp out of the spring mini as well.  I made it to give to one of my downline as part of prize for participating in a challenge that I gave them one weekend.
Makes such a pretty, fun card!  Thanks for stopping by this snowy, windy Monday in MT!
