This is so pretty!  The gold and silver ink pads are on the weekly deals this week!  What a great time to pick them up!  You can emboss them or leave them with a little drying time the ink does dry. 

***Hint***  To get the white cs to stick to the silver glimmer paper use the green tombow glue.  That is about the best thing I have found to use to attach. 

 

The Snowflake Soiree set was used, along with the silver and gold ink pads with embossing powders, and some rhinestones for bling.  Then added a layer of silver glimmer paper to make it pop!  It's a pretty simple card but lots of wow!

Quick and Easy!

I wanted to share this from one of our artisan design team members for SU.  This is a really simple and cute idea!  Enjoy!

Treats. Wrap. Treats. Wrap.

My 3-year-old daughter, Jane, tells me that she wants Santa to bring her a sled for Christmas. She also tells me that her one-year-old brother, Jack, wants stamps. “His own stamps!” she exclaims. I couldn’t agree more; however, I think he has a different idea. Despite all of these wonderful gifts, I believe that the one thing that gets my daughter and son jumping up and down is treats. Any kind of treats.

With that in mind, I have begun the process of packaging “treats” for the music class, the daycare, the Christmas party, etc. (Does it ever end?)

First up is the daycare, and since I have to make these quickly, I grabbed some lunch sacks from our local grocery store, as well as an assortment of candy. I adore the look of the Tea Lace Paper Doilies on almost anything. I stamped them using the a-mazing Christmas Messages Stamp Set.



Voilà. Easy, accessible treats.

I also had a couple of extra-special treats that I wanted to create, so I decided to use the Bigz L Mini Milk Carton. I also used cardstock—as well as the Window Sheets —so you could see what was on the inside.



How cute are they?

Now get crackin’! I bet you have your own treats to create. And be sure to make some extras in case you forget someone!

Christmas is coming!

I am hoping that today's post will provide some inspiration for you to take a break from all the holiday hustle and bustle to stamp a few cards for good friends and family. 

 

Pretty quick and easy to do.  I am loving those little frosted finishes embellishments that are found in the holiday catalog this year!  They add such sparkle.  The winter frost dsp is a specialty paper featuring the diagonal stripe paper which is sooooo much prettier in person.  There are two sheets of embossed, foil-accented paper in the pack and the rest are regular double sided dsp.  I LOVE it!
