Swap cards...

Today I will share a couple flowery swap cards...I'm so ready for spring...

This first one is from Linda H.  I love the diagonal accent and how she added the little flower to the perfect pennants banner! 

This second card is from Mary A.  She used some of the new SAB paper and look how well all our flower punches coordinate together!

More Valentine's Day!!

Today I am sharing with you some more Valentine's Day cards.  These are some swap cards made by the talented, Amy Ward. 

 

This card uses the Language of Love set from the Occasions

 Mini catalog on page 25 in combination with Delightful Dozen from our

annual catalog on page 27.  I love how she added the red and silver glimmer paper

punched out with the heart punch to add some glitz along with a rhinestone for bling in both

 of these cards.

This is a square card made with the same two sets above along with the dictionary stamp which

 is a big background stamp found in our annual catalog on page 100.  Smoky slate is

the perfect background color to base this on.

Creative hearts!

Today I am sharing some creative hearts--with some heart cards that I got in a recent swap.  I hope you will all take some time and make a "heart card" for your Valentine today.  This first one is from Debbi M. and I love her hear stitching along with the little banners made with the banner punch which you can get for FREE with a qualifying purchase during Sale-a-Bration.

Next is a card from Deb T.--I swap with these gals on a monthly basis--those of  you who have come to my classes in the past know that these cards always come with me to classes and workshops in my baskets.  They are so fun to look at and take pictures of to go home and make yourself.

 

Now on this card Deb used a heart that is retired but I have chosen to leave it there as many of you already have this little embosslit from Stampin' Up!  I love the heart combined with a little bling with the rhinestones.  It makes a lovely valentine or even an anniversary card for your loved one...

Ghiradelli Valentine goodies

Today, I am sharing pictures of a Valentine goodies I made.  It is so much fun to share these with unsuspecting people along the way between now and Valentine's Day!

I got this idea from Becky Roberts, a fellow stamper.  It is a fun and easy project.  I made 17 one night while watching tv.  You start with a 3 x 5 piece of cardstock and then cut a designer series paper 2 1/4 x 3".  Then you will score your cardstock at 2 1/4 and 2 1/2".  ***HINT*** I found it easier to attach the dsp before  I did the scoring that way you can make sure you score goes below the dsp but always keep the second score at 2 1/2 for perfect folding.  If you have trouble you can scant cut your dsp just short of 2 1/4".  There is no adhesive except the dimensionals to pop up the oval accent piece.  No adhesive to hold the file folder together--just the twine holds its together & keeps your ghiradelli chocolate in  place. 

Okay when you go to punch you will put the paper into the center of the  punch area and punch then move over to 2" and punch again this will make you first tab.  Then turn it over and do the other side the same way.

They are fun to make!  I used the occasion's alphabet to do these with.  I also used a photopolymer set.  See below for more details for supplies used.  All will be Stampin' Up!
