Butterfly Basics

Today's post is a card made with Butterfly Basics.  I cased the idea from Artfelt Impressions and added a few touches to it.  I am a layer girl so it got a layer of smoky slate behind the focal point piece.  Then instead of plain pearls, I took my smoky slate blendies and colored them in with the medium marker.

Colors are pear pizzazz, smoky slate, and lost lagoon.  Oh and white of course.  :-)  Have a great day and stop in again soon!

CCMC 343

Today I used the Painted Blooms designer series paper that coordinates with the Painted Petals stamp set on my card to participate in the challenge over at Create with Connie and Mary.  It is a sketch challenge this time and here it is:

Here is what I came up with.  Hope you enjoy it.  I used three if the something borrowed embellishments from the occasions catty.  They are so pretty and I am not going to continue to be a paper hoarder so...using up some of that pretty paper too!

Sunny Day with swaps!

Yesterday,  we started moving our cows home for calving season which is still a ways off but with the weather being so nice, we decided to get it done.

It's a big ole hill to climb!  The cows are scattered for a long line.

A peek to the north from the top of the hill coming home.

Cows getting a drink at the Big Well.

A look to the east--love Montana--you can see forever and then some!  Now some swap cards from leadership 2015!

Back from sunny Florida!

I wanted to share some pictures with you from our leadership conference for Stampin' Up!  It was an absolute delight to meet some new people, share ideas, swap and get business tips.  Stampin' Up! leadership was a blast!

After our first full day of speakers and meetings SU treated all managers and above to a wonderful night out at Disney World's Hollywood Studios.  We watched the Fantasmic show and then were off to have a dessert bar on Sunset Blvd.

After filling our tummy with treats we headed off to ride the Rockin Rollercoaster with Aerosmith and take a trip on the elevator at the Tower of Terror.

It was Diane's first time...she was a real tropper and I knew she would love it!

Here is Diane making a flower from the Build a Bouquet project kit from the occasions mini catalog.  It's found on page 29.

Here's me helping with the service project...we built several little card kits!  Fun!

Great new friends from Texas!

After the closing session, we all decided to walk to dinner at Bahama Breeze.  Sooooo yummy!

Friends from Montana, Alaska, Washington and Texas!

On our way back to the hotel, we stopped for a $4 margarita!  LOL...those of you who know me this wouldn't surprise you...then someone thought it was a good idea to go for ice cream!  Here is Diane and I being goofs!

Stop in tomorrow for some swap cards!
