Blooms and Wishes

Today's post is a card using the Blooms and Wishes stamp set.  It also uses the layering oval framelits!  I love these layering framelits...they make it so easy.
Colors are peekaboo peach, sweet sugarplum, and mint macaron.  The petal burst embossing folder was used on the mint piece.

Hope you have a great day...thanks for stopping by.

Distressed foil technique

I love this technique...gives that tarnished look and it pairs so nicely with the falling in love designer series paper.  It is really pretty easy to do.

So you take some gold foil paper found in the annual catalog. They come in 12 x 12 sheets, with 2 per pack.  Cut to the size you will need to die cut.  You will use a sanding block--they are retired from Stampin' Up!  but you can get them from most nail techs.  Use the block to sand the cs until some silver spots appear.  Use a little black ink to sponge over the top of this to give it that tarnished look.  Let it dry and then you can die cut it.

These first two cards were inspired by Linda Heller.  Love the dragonfly dreams bundle out of the Occasions catalog.

This card was my creation with this technique.  It uses the So In Love bundle and the Falling in Love dsp.  The gold glitter ribbon is a SAB pick and the doilies are another of my favs from the Occasions catty...they are vanilla on one side and white on the other.  Simply genius!
Have a great weekend!  Until next time...

Welcome cards

Today I am sharing a card that I made for some recent recruits.  It has a pretty basic layout but it would work for most any type of card.  Just change up the sentiment and colors if you wish.
This is the blushing bride ribbon I was talking about the other day when I told  you I had some on order.
Thanks for stopping by today...enjoy your week!

Beautiful day in Central MT

Today was a great day to be outside bringing some cows home so we can work them and get them sorted for calving season.  I had a great helper along with our granddaughter going along for the ride in the pickup loaded with cake so the cows will follow.  This is a little look at my life...stamping is my calgon!  I totally love it for relaxing!

It's a long walk up a big hill!

 Getting closer to home....
And lastly, here is your stamping inspiration for Valentine's Day!  Don't forget to make your valentine a card!  This uses an old stamp set called teeny tiny wishes.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Happy Stamping!

Thank you cards

Happy Saturday!  Here are a couple cards I made this week!  The Falling in Love dsp is one of my favorites from the Occasions catalog.  This also uses a SAB set called So Very Much.  The speckles come from Gorgeous Grunge.  The cs colors are vanilla, soft suede, and blushing bride.  The ribbon is retired but we have some blushing bride ribbon that is current that would work great but I was out of it...have some on order!

This card uses a stamp set called Thankful thoughts. White and red cardstock along with some sending love dsp from the occasions mini catalog.  Ribbon is from the sending love suite in the occasions catty as well.  The enamel shapes are from the brights collection.  I also used the Big Shot with the layering squares framelits collection.

Hope these provide you with some inspiration for the weekend!  Until next time...
Happy Stamping!
