It's been a while since I posted...my apologies, I have had my stamp room torn to pieces going thru things and getting rid of garbage. Organizing takes a lot of time but hopefully I can stay on track once I get it all done and keep it organized a bit better. Going to have to make some changes in order to do that but it will be for the better. :-)
Today I am playing with one of my new fav's from the occasions mini catalog. Turn to page 26 and you will find the set and framelits I am playing with.
Here's what I came up with:
I used pear pizzazz, pool party and so saffron for colors. There is a bit of a trick with the intricate design of the framelit and getting it all to fall out without poking each one individually. Now each big shot machine is a bit different but this is the "sandwich" that worked for me.
SANDWICH FOR CUTTING DETAILED FRAMELITS & THINLITS
Magnetic Platform or Multi-Purpose Platform
Cutting Plate (the flatter, the better); hmmm...might be time for new ones for me! :-)
Unused Dryer Sheet
Cardstock or Designer Series Paper
Wax Paper
Framelit or Thinlit
Cutting Plate
When done running it thru you will remove the plate, wax paper, then the framelit, then pull the cardstock away from the dryer sheet (it's gonna want to stick) and all the little pieces stick to the dryer sheet. Magically wonderful! I just use cheap, unscented dryer sheets from the dollar store.
Thanks for stopping by today. Have a great day!
