Abstract Impressions Card

Project Recipe:

1. Using the corner floral thinlit from the springtime impressions die and the big shot embossing mats you will emboss the floral on the petal pink cardstock.
2. Layer the petal pink to black cardstock and put that to the base card of grapefruit grove. Add the strip of black toward the center of the card.
3. Stamp greeting in black on the grapefruit grove piece and flag the end. Attach to the black strip.
4. Using the precision base plate to cut the butterfly out of the share what you love specialty dsp. Add faceted dots to butterfly and card. Attach butterfly to the card.

Sheltering Tree Sympathy

Today's card is a sympathy card made with the Sheltering Tree stamp set.  I love fresh fig...it's one of our in colors.  

The subtles folder added a great embossed background.  The lace trim and fresh fig sheer ribbon add a nice vintage look to this card.  The greeting comes from the new greeting set called Itty Bitty Greetings found on page 46 of the 2018-19 catalog.  Sheltering Tree set is found on page 140.   Three metallic gold pearls to highlight the greeting.

Varied Vases

Good Sunday Morning to all!  Today's card was made with the new Varied Vases bundle found on page 45 of the 2018-2019 catalog.  It is a photopolymer stamp set with a  matching punch.  When you buy them in the bundle you will receive 10 % off the purchase price.

I am loving the new colors that Stampin' Up! came out with in this new catalog.  I will miss some of the old, but a whole new color palette to play with is soooo much fun.  Here are the new colors:

The card above uses petal pink, soft sea foam, grapefruit grove, and vanilla.  Btw, vanilla, black, and white are found in the basics category now, not in the neutrals.  You can find them on page 184 under the neutrals.  I added a bit of wink of stella found on page 203 for $8 to the flowers to give them a little sparkle.  I used the Big Shot with the layering circles framelits to cut the circle and scallop piece out of petal pink and vanilla.  Then also embossed the layered leaves on the soft sea foam strip.  I had the tailored tag punch sitting on my stamp table so I used it to flag the greeting pieces.
