Country Home

Good morning!  Today's post is a card that I recently made using the Country Lane Suite from the 2018 Holiday catalog.  I hope you enjoy it!  Here is the project:

Supplies needed:

Country Home Photopolymer Stamp Set [147678] Country Lane 12" X 12" (30.5 X 30.5 Cm) Designer Series Paper [147804]

Blackberry Bliss 8-1/2" X 11" Cardstock [133675] Whisper White 8-1/2" X 11" Card Stock [100730]

Crushed Curry 8-1/2" X 11" Card Stock [131199] Gold 1/8" (3.2 Mm) Cord [147528]

Project Recipe:

1. Cut blackberry bliss cs to make your base card.
2. Cut your layer from the Country Lane designer series paper (dsp).
3. Stamp the greeting in blackberry bliss ink and the cattail image in crushed curry ink onto white cardstock. Both of these stamps come from the Country home photopolymer stamp set. I used my stamparatus, but you don't have to.
4. Fold base card in half, and add the country lane paper. You will layer the white stamped piece to the crushed curry leaving a border around three sides.
5. Lastly add the gold cord around the card and tie a bow.

Abstract Impressions Card

Project Recipe:

1. Using the corner floral thinlit from the springtime impressions die and the big shot embossing mats you will emboss the floral on the petal pink cardstock.
2. Layer the petal pink to black cardstock and put that to the base card of grapefruit grove. Add the strip of black toward the center of the card.
3. Stamp greeting in black on the grapefruit grove piece and flag the end. Attach to the black strip.
4. Using the precision base plate to cut the butterfly out of the share what you love specialty dsp. Add faceted dots to butterfly and card. Attach butterfly to the card.

Sheltering Tree Sympathy

Today's card is a sympathy card made with the Sheltering Tree stamp set.  I love fresh fig...it's one of our in colors.  

The subtles folder added a great embossed background.  The lace trim and fresh fig sheer ribbon add a nice vintage look to this card.  The greeting comes from the new greeting set called Itty Bitty Greetings found on page 46 of the 2018-19 catalog.  Sheltering Tree set is found on page 140.   Three metallic gold pearls to highlight the greeting.
