Plaid tidings swap cards

 Today I am sharing some more cards made with the plaid tidings suite.  

This swap card was made by Bernice Hallack.  She used the Plaid Tidings Suite.  The Celebration Tidings bundle and plaid tidings dsp are in the suite.  Love the cute lil spider.

This swap card was made by Laurie Hansen.  She used the fireside trimmings bundle also from the Aug-Dec 2020 catalog.  Love the bat garland out of black glimmer paper!

This swap card was made by Donna Cochran.  She used the Cherish the season bundle.  The bells are cut out of silver foil paper, very pretty!  This winter snow embossing folder is a nice touch on the  cherry cobbler layer.

 

This swap card was made by Carrie Todd.  I love the negative use of the celebration tidings die cut.  A nice fall card,

A fun fold card from Michelle Suit with the Have a Hoot bundle.  Below shows how it opens.  I love these little owls...so cute!

This swap card was designed by Jeanne d.  She used Festive Post and Festive Corners stamp sets from the Aug-Dec 2020 catalog.  She stamped with Blackberry Bliss and pumpkin pie to match the plaid designer series paper.  The lil spider has a colored gem on him.  Also a bit of a fun fold, below is showing it opened.

More plaid tidings

 

This card I saw online somewhere and had to recreate it and put my spin on it. It uses the celebrate sunflowers bundle and pinewood planks embossing folder from the annual catty.  The plaid tidings dsp is a 6 x6 paper and so many lovely plaids.

This card was created by my friend, Donna Cochran.  She is in my monthly swap group.  I love the layout she used for this card.

This card was created by Lorie Duran who is also in my monthly swap group.  A fun winter card with the Warm and Toasty set from the Aug-Dec catalog.

These little candy holders are awesome.  I got the idea from another demo, Pootles.  They use a 6 x6 piece of the plaid paper and there is no cutting or scoring to make them.  They just take a couple folds and some good strong adhesive.  They hold fun size candy bars.  I used the Have a Hoot bundle from the Aug- Dec 2020 catty.

This card uses the Love of Leaves bundle from the Aug-Dec 2020 catty.

Plaid Tidings Suite

PLAID TIDINGS SUITE

I'm often asked about the best all around stamp set or which stamp set a new stamper should start with. You know I love stamps, so I'd never say that there is one stamp set that covers all the bases, but the new August-December 2020 Mini Catalog does have a stamp set is about as close as it gets. I think you'll love the Celebrations Tidings stamp set that is part of the Plaid Tidings Suite.

If you are new to stamping, the Celebration Tidings stamp set is a great place to start since it has greetings and images that span the holidays and occasions from Autumn through to Valentine's Day.

More Playful Pets

 Today I am sharing some more ideas with the Playful Pets Suite.  These are swap cards I have received from other demos.  

 

This card is so cute with the texture on the gray layer and the cute lil red bow.  No name on this one.

This card was designed by Sandy Carlson.  It is a fun fold and I will put a picture below of it open.

These cards were made by Katy Simeka (top left), Linda Pagel (top right) and Amy Ward (bottom).

Katy's is a fun fold shown below.  Linda's card uses a couple punches together to make the greeting pop.  Amy's card cuts the dogs from the designer series paper that is in this suite.  The dies make this super easy.  Below is the inside of Amy's card.  

This is how Katy's card looks opened up.  A clever fun fold.

Playful Pet Suite

Pet lovers are howling with excitement over the purr-fectly whimsical Playful Pets suite. The Playful Pets bundle of stamps and dies are a must-have for anyone with a fur-baby. In this tutorial I'm showing one layout done two ways. The first is a simple stamping (#simplestamping) card using stamps, ink, and paper. The second card is the stepped up version that adds in die cutting, 3D embossing, and heat embossing.
