One of the new items available will be this cute basket stamp set and a matching embossing folder to match it. It will be a bundle free with a $100 purchase starting on Feb. 16th! As a demonstrator, I was able to purchase these last week and get them early to play with them. I saw a demo online that used the crumb cake ink to ink up the basket folder before she embossed it. I did that with these samples today. If you come to my classes, we did this with the woodlands folder in the past.
Yes, I did fussy cut the basket out! The outline is not bad to cut and I found if I punched a hole with a smaller circle punch in the center part of the basket, it made it easier to trim out. I used the blends to color it and love them!
I love my paper snips for doing this trimming, the nice small blades are sharp to the tip for getting into small spaces. Item #103579 paper snips for $9.95
Here is the final project. Soooo pretty!
Now, those of you that are really observant, will notice the design on the crumb cake base and strip. I made that by scrunching up a piece of copy paper and dipping it into the crumb cake ink pad and using it as a stamp. I hope you enjoy these sneak peeks...get your wish lists ready to go for Feb. 16th! I have a hostess code open so please use it! It is: YRF43MAM
If you are planning to place an order of over $150 don't use the hostess code and use those hostess benefits yourself.
