May flew by--it was a busy one! While I spent a good share of the month healing up from my run in with a cow....we also finished up branding calves, getting pairs to summer pasture, heading to Missoula for Jeff's college graduation, and then another trip back to clean out his apartment and move him back to eastern Montana.
It was such a gorgeous weekend in Missoula temps in the 70's, no rain or wind, with tons of sun; absolutely perfect! We had a combined graduation party with Jeff's longtime friend since kindergarten. :-) They have been in school together since the get-go! 18 years together--majority of their lives! Marisa was valedictorian and Jeff the salutatorian of their high school class then moving on to a great college to continue their educations. I am so proud of you both!
Even Jillian got to come for her wittle brover's graduation; time away from her new job and all! It was so fun to spend some great family time together.
Grandma and Grandpa Hughes were on their way home to the ranch for the summer and just came to Missoula on their way--not too far out of the way for them. I have some more pictures to post of the party so will do that another day. Thanks for stopping by and stay tuned for some cards from the new catalog tomorrow!
