Just 10 days left

Sorry I have been so absent this week.  A sad week at our house as we had to put our dog down on Monday.  :-(  I have struggled a lot this week and wish to thank those of you who have sent emails, comments, thoughts and prayers our way.  I appreciate all of them.  Prince was a great dog and faithful companion and loved all who came his way.  He greeted everyone who came to our house with his big smile and wagging tail along with a bark, to let us know that you were around.  He will be missed.....

Today's card features a set from the occasion's mini catalog that is just 10 days away from expiring!  Take a peek and make sure there is nothing there that you can't live without as we may never see it again.  Some of the stamp sets and accessories will make the new catalog but even I don't know which ones.

This card was made by Kimberly Allen, a friend that I swap with.  She embossed and colored the flower in cutting layers to curl the petals.  It uses the mixed bunch stamp set, blossom punch, adorning edgelits, loving thoughts stamp set, and the adorning accents embossing folders.  All from the occasion's mini.  A very pretty card indeed.  Thanks for peeking in today.  Hope you are having a great weekend!



Retired List is Here!

Today is the day!  The retired stamp list is here--oh my....

It's always such a sad time to know that sets are leaving but Stampin' Up! does it every year to make room for brand new sets in the new catalog.  Now, you might notice that the retiring list is out earlier than usual....that is because the new catalog will be out earlier than usual, June 1 instead of July 1, 2012!  I can't wait to see the new and make my list of new favorites!

3 x 3 Love Note

I love that they refer to these little 3 x 3 cards as love notes!  I got this one in with her swap for the month from Sharon Burkert.

I love how she made a matching envelope.  So very cute!  She  used the blossom bouquet triple punch.

Retiring List

Did you know that with the earlier release of our new catalog this year the retiring list will be out for stamps on April 15th!  That's just a few days away!  The accessories retirement will come out on the 25th.

Another Summer Smooches!

I am loving this product suite and I am sooooo very happy that SU is giving us a sneak peek of some items from the new catalog.  Today's card uses several products from this suite. 

This card was made by Kimberly Allen who I swap with.  It is one of the fabulous cards that travels in my baskets with  me to workshops, classes, and club meetings.  It uses the daffodil delight seam binding, bright blossoms stamp set, and summer smooches dsp all from the April promotion.  You can view more about how to order these items on my April 1st post.  It also uses some Big Shot accessories.  The polka dot folder, designer frames folder (oval one), and the oval original die are all used with the Big Shot on this card.  Have a great day and thanks for stopping in for a minute or two with me!

More Summer Smooches!

Here is an idea with the April Stampin' Up! Sneak Peek promotion.  This is a card I received in a swap from Sharon Burkert.  It uses the Summer Smooches stamp set, Bright Blossoms.  We received this set for FREE at the Stampin' Up! leadership conference that I attended in January in San Antonio!  Love those little perks for being a SU demonstrator.  Contact me if you are interested.  The dsp is from the Domestic Goddess pack and the 2011-2013 In Color dsp.  Pool party, calypso coral, lucky limeade, and white are your colors.

More Creative Elements

As promised here is another card made with Creative Elements which is the stamp of the month for April.  Take a peek--it was a fun card to make.
