Wild about Flowers

I got a swap card from Mary Ammar recently and I loved it.  So I cased her and changed the colors and the sentiment.

I love this stamp set, it is called Wild About Flowers and comes in photopolymer only...item #138728 for $21.00; adding the pearls to the flowers really adds a nice touch.  The sentiment comes from Perfect Pennants.  A stamp from the Gorgeous Grunge set goes over the flowers to add some color.

Enjoy your day and thanks for stopping by today.

Snow Flurry Card

Today's post is a card I made for a challenge recently.  It is an easy layout and you can change up the colors and embellishments to make your own quick card.

I used the Snow Flurry die and the Big shot to cut the snowflakes.  I added some pearls to them and used the Candlelight Christmas dsp which is found in the holiday mini along with the die.  The greeting is from teeny tiny wishes.  I gave the whole card a spritz with some champagne mist shimmer paint mixed with rubbing alcohol.  It is really pretty in real life.  :-)  Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a great week!

Christmas Swap Card

Today's post is a card that I made to swap recently.  An easy layout that goes together nicely with vanilla, soft suede, and cherry cobbler for color theme.

I used the Delightful Decorations set, More Merry Messages set, and the Netting background stamp all from the regular catalog.  I use my Big Shot on most projects that I do anymore--not really sure how I lived without it???!  I die cut the scallop square and textured the polka dots on the soft suede piece with it.  The matching punch to the ornament saves cutting it out and also used the decorative label to punch out the netting stamp.  The piercing, crochet ribbon and pearl in the center of the ornament are the finishing touches to this card.  All supplies are from Stampin' Up! 2012-2013 catalog.
Have a fun weekend!  Thanks for stopping by for a minute today...until later, make it a great day!

Ornament Keepsakes

As promised....here is card made using all those fun little supplies in this month's special, check out yesterday's post for the special for October!

I just picked colors from the Candlelight Christmas dsp to use as my colors for the card.  Stampin' Up!  makes it sooooo easy for us.  Amazing!  So I used the dsp, the stamp set, the framelits to cut the ornament out with, and the paper  piercing pack on the window framelits.  Pretty quick and easy to put together and a pearl and some ribbon added to the ornament to complete the look.  Have a great day!  Thanks for stopping by for a quick peek!

Sale-a-Bration continues

Sale-a-Bration time continues on for us and what a great time of year it is!!  It is the biggest sale of the year for Stampin' Up!  Be sure to check out all the information by clicking HERE.  You will find info for customers, hostesses, and new recruits.

For the card today, I got a thank you card from a dowline of mine--absolutely so fun and cute!  This card was created by Sharon Brusett.  Be sure to check out the recruiting special for SAB--only $125 to join my team!

Isn't this just such a cute idea??  She took the full heart punch and folded them and made a flower with them.  She used the Everyday Enchantment dsp from the Sale-a- Bration catty which you can get for FREE with a qualifying purchase of $50 so stock up and save! Below you can see the inside of the card done with the Elementary Elegance SAB set and dsp.  Base card is Peach Parfait cs.

After seeing this it inspired me to try to make some of these flowers and this is what I came up with.  Thanks Sharon for the inspiration!  Sharon's card is on the left and mine on the right.  I added some of the tasteful trim for a stem and the leaves done with the circle punch.  I have been showing this little trick at some of my recent workshops.  If you would like to learn how, call or email and we will book a workshop for you and your friends.

The two cards below, are both my creations from Sharon's inspiration.  I like having the greeting on the front of the card.  These are so fun and springtime like.  I think even though we have had a pretty mild winter here, we all are having spring thoughts!  Greeting is from Curly and Cute.  Also used the framed tulip folder and the Big Shot on these cards with a little tea stain around the edges.  You can find this distressing kit in our main catalog on page 203.

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by today!

More Mixed Bunch

I have been playing with this stamp set a lot lately!  I love it and most of all, I love that there is a punch to match the flowers!  No cutting them out--yippee.

I am loving the color combo of soft suede, peach parfait, and vanilla together.  It uses the Mixed Bunch stamp set, Happiest Birthday Wishes (hostess offering)stamp set, dotted scallop ribbon border punch, lace ribbon, etc.  Notice I used a square punch to flag the end of the greeting and dsp.  A little sponging to add interest to the flower.  Some stampin' dimensionals to pop it up a bit.  The dsp comes from the SAB offering called Everyday Enchantment.  Have a great day; thanks for stopping by.

Black and White

Today's card is done in black and white--I love this color combo!  I know that many of you do too.  It does make a great combo for sympathy cards.

This uses the Loving Thoughts from the occasion's mini (page 15) for the greeting.  It is really pretty simple using the elegaqnt bouquet emboss folder and beautiful wings embosslit die with the Big Shot to do the rest.  I added some black to the middle of the flowers with a marker and some pearls to the center of the butterflies using the pearl jewels found on page 198 of th 2011-2012 IB&C.  Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a great one!

Apothecary Art

Not a great picture--sorry!  It's been gray so hard to get good pics.  My ladies at stamp club loved this card so thought I would post it here.  I made some for swaps at leadership in San Antonio too!  Perfect Plum and Elegant Eggplant are paired with Very Vanilla.  I used the stamp sets Apothecary Art and Loving Thoughts.  Having a great time here in San Antonio--see you soon!

Creative Elements

Today's post uses the stamp set creative elements found on page 137 of the 2011-2012 IB&C.  It uses a fall theme of colors that I really love together; perfect plum, more mustard, and old olive.

I used the Big Shot and the new designer frames embossing folders.  I only used one of them but you get two in the package.  I then stamped the curly cute (Page 168) saying in the middle top using elegant eggplant ink.  I stamped the flourish around the edges as well.  On some scrap mustard, I stamped the flower in elegant eggplant as well and trimmed it out.  The pearl accents were colored with a permanent marker.  I am loving those little strips of pearls and rhinestones that you get in the package with the single ones.  Have a great weekend!  Thanks for stopping in.

Delicate Doilies

Happy Saturday to you all!  Today's post is done with Delicate Doilies, another new set to the current IB&C.  You can find it on page 127.

It also uses the flirtatious DSP which is a specialty paper new to this catalog as well.  I used concord crush, peach parfait, and pear pizzazz for my ink and cardstock colors along with whisper white.  Added some pearls for bling--those pearls and rhinestones were the greatest addition to SU's line of products last year.  I use them all the time!  The punches used are the dotted scallop ribbon border and modern label.  Enjoy your weekend!  Thanks for dropping by for a few minutes today.
